Corporate & Creative Spaces

Waverley Events are based in the historic Donkey Wheel House at 673 Bourke Street. A Venetian Gothic Revival building constructed in the 1890s, 673 Bourke was originally the Melbourne Tramway and Omnibus Company Building. After going through many incarnations over the past 100+ years, the building was purchased by Donkey Wheel Foundation in 2008 and turned into Melbourne's hub for charities, non-profits and social enterprise. Now managed by the aptly named Ethical Property this heritage building still has stories to tell  – and we invite you to be part of it!

Our selection of spaces make the most of what this architecture has to offer; soaring ceilings, whitewashed walls, gothic pointed-arch windows, original tilework, leadlight windows and more. These are spaces where inspiration strikes!
